The Sacred Heart Schools were founded in France in 1800 by Saint Madeleine Sophie Barratt in the late 18th century.
The Sacred Heart Schools appeared in Egypt during the premiership of Sidqi Pasha, who established the first Sacred Heart boarding school on September 29, 1911, in Heliopolis (Cairo).
