1916 view of the French Cavalry Camp, Victoria
A very rare photograph of the French cavalry camp and Victoria tram station during World War I in 1916.
This was the French cavalry camp belonging to the Allied forces during World War I, some of whose battles were fought on Egyptian soil between 1914 and 1918.
The site is now Victoria College.
