The Mecca Police Station - Saudi Arabia in 1886 Ad

One of the earliest photographic images of Mecca, taken by Muhammad Sadiq Bey, head of the Egyptian Hajj campaign that year, to the holy lands in 1886. He was among the first photographers to capture images of the Two Holy Mosques, taking a number of remarkable photographs of Mecca and Medina during Hajj seasons from 1880 to around 1890.
